Ok everybody..I am fat
Yep,it is true.Stated my diet 18 months ago and lost 13 kilos in 12 months.
I am 5' 11" and was 118 kilos and got to 105 kilos. No excercise, went on the lite n easy programe.. Stopped 6 months ago and put on 5 kilos . Over Christmas I have put on another 2 kilos in 2 weeks. Sick of it all.!!!!!!! Doesn't help when you get a medical and the doctor calls you obese. Doesn't help when there was a weigh in at work(where I refused to particicpate) and as I was leaving some one yelled out "Hey chubby where are you going" Doesn't help when you see yourself in shop windows and cringe. Doesn't help when you have to buy extra large of shirts Doesn't help when you have to buy 42" pants. Doesn't help where you don't want to tuck your shirt in tour pants as your gut sticks out. Doesn't help when your wife can eat anything she wants and not gain an ounce. Doesn't help when you are to emabaresd to go to gym becasuse of the mirrors there. Doesn't help when you are the fattest of all your friends. Doesn't help when you get snorkelling stuff for Christmas and you are too emabaresed to go to the beach Doesn't help when you don't buy T shirts or golfing type shirts as they show all your fat bits. The number one thing is taking back responsibility and control over what you put in your mouth. Part of the key is that you stopped what you were doing. Why? Were you bored? Were you frustrated? Controlling weight has to be a lifelong thing. For good health, it has to include an exercise program as well as eating a wide variety of foods, particularly things high in fiber. You have to control the fat content, such as deep-frying food or using mayonnaise or cheese as seasonings. You should also limit alcohol which is empty calories compared to most healthy foods. It can take a long time to integrate the four parts into your life, it's an evolutionary thing for many of us. I AM FAT AND I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You need to do one more thing. If what you're doing now isn't working for you then you need to decide to change. A great book for helping with that introspective chore is "Fattitudes" by Jeffrey & Noreen Wilbert. It helps you find the payoffs for being fat. They might be simple things like, "eating is entertaining because I enjoy the taste of food" or harder things like, "eating is self-medicating my neuroses." It might be that you like being unattractive because then you don't have to compete in that arena, or maybe you like being fat because it gives you a free pass to use the elevator and you're lazy. I don't know why you choose to be fat, but you need to realize that you ARE choosing to be fat. And you gotta ask yourself why. Dally 244/190/174 |

I feel better now I have got that out of my system.New eating plan starts
today. No more crap food going in my mouth. As far as excercise goes.we have a walking machine which I will start to use for 15 minutes a day and build up to 30 minutes. Also what loses more calories,swimming for 30 mins or walking at a brisk pace for 30 mins. My job takes me away from home a lot, so I must remember to pack my shorts and joggers My goal is to get to 80 kilos by the end of June 2004 and maintain this weight for life. Thanks for listeneing. If you are 114 lbs now, this means losing 34 kg, or about 5.6 kg per mont, or about 12.4 lbs per month. This may be an unrealistic goal and one that would hurt you more than help you. A safer rate of weight loss is something like 4-8 lbs per month (2-4 kg). That said, when I was losing weight, 12 lbs per month was my personal pace and I felt like a stud throughout. But it is more than recommended and may force you to cut on calories too much. Then you may be in starvation, get lightheaded, scare yourself and withdraw from your diet. Try to be more positive. You're still down 6 kilos from 18 months ago - that's progress. Here are two tips: 1) try to work up to one hour of walking or other exercise daily. 2) consider adding more fiber (30 grams) - fiber can reduce your appetite by 20%. 3) You need permanent habit change to cause permanent weight loss. smallest amount of butter. Any suggestions for websites so I can plan my meals. You can setup two accounts - one for tracking calories and one for inputting your planned menu to see where you stand on calories and fat/protein/carb ratio. IMHO there is no 'best time' for exercise other than when it fits into your schedule. I'm not a morning person and have never been able to jump out of bed and exercise.
