Stocks Seen Weaker Ahead of Jobs Report

....In corporate news, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. shares fell sharply
before the open, after it issued its first-ever profit warning since it
went public four years ago.

Shares of Krispy Kreme fell to $29.41 on the INET electronic brokerage,
down from their Thursday close of $31.80 on the New York Stock Exchange
(News - Websites). The doughnut chain cut its earnings forecast by 10
percent, as the popularity of low-carbohydrate diets hurt demand for its
doughnuts.

When Krispy Kreme opened up in Maple Grove, MN there were lines for weeks.
24 hrs/day. They rerouted traffic and had OD police officers to control
traffic. They had a shuttle bus from the stripmall across the street too. I
haven't had one in 16 months and don't miss them at all.
Now if I could get off the coffee and ID French Vanilla with splenda.

"French" vanilla in ice cream usually refers to including egg,
which I doubt is in the ID.

Walmart carries DaVinci SF vanilla syrup (just about the only SF flavor
they carry). Try it with a little cream or Hood Carb Countdown milk
substitute.

No carbs in the DaVinci syrup, and Carb Countdown is only 3g per
cup. I prefer the red label, which is the highest fat version (130
calories/cup), and I find it to be almost as rich as half and half.

You can often find a few flavors of SF DaVinci in the gourmet relish/
vinegar/syrup aisle at TJ Maxx, Ross or Marshalls. Just be sure you
watch for the blue-trimmed SF labels, as they also have sugared versions.
You can order about 40 SF flavors from netrition.com or davincigourmet.com

If you're considering decaf, and "gourmet" decaf coffee beans are
too expensive (for what we go through, they are) -- of canned decafs
available, we find Chock Ful o' Nuts to be less bland than others.
I went caffeine free for my first year lowcarbing, although I eventually
added a caffeine tablet in the morning and early afternoon, and stuck with
decaf coffee so I could drink as much as I want without getting wired.

note: while the Da Vinci SF Vanilla syrup is very good, the only
SF DaVinci flavor that I have *not* liked was their French Vanilla.
Hubby and I both thought it tasted like pancake syrup. Their SF English
Toffee, Irish Cream, Caramel, and Butter Rum syrups are all great for
dessert coffee, IMO, and I keep several fruit flavors around for flavoring
other things.

Thanks. I don't use any artificial creamers so I am
unfamiliar with this brand. I was trying to read the as
"id" from psychoanalytic theory and could almost make it
work with that definition.

Is it possible that Krispy Kreme is one reason for the prevalence of
low carbers today?
