Points - Costco Breakfast Cookie?????
I did NOT need info on the taste of brownie bites spelled out in
computer bytes!!! Now the chocolate cake - wait, what chocolate cake????? (G) On Mon, 23 Feb 2004 01:48:43 -0600, Joyce wrote: Well, I can't help you with the muffin - have no idea as to the nutritional info or if it is a Costco item. And they are absolutely delicious!!! I also think I saw the cake you were talking about, and yes, it looks heavenly! I avoided it though, it did not come home with me ... today. Points - Costco Breakfast Cookie?????
Well, better than the breakfast cookie cited but not wonderful.
240 calories 11 grams fat 3 fiber 5.something points which is less than the breakfast cookie. And she claims (the heathnut that she is) that the oils are good oils and that she does not believe WW should be penalizing us for good oils!!!! On Mon, 23 Feb 2004 18:00:50 -0800, Fred wrote: It was about that size in diameter but thinner. I have to remember to ask for the info that is presumeably on the box. Yes, empty points are a problem. If it was very dense, and about 3 " diameter X 1/2" thick you gotta have at least 5 points. Never bothered my weight loss efforts a bit though. For me the "empty" points were more of a problem. "Fred" wrote in message . .. Yikes - I hope those are not them - 6 points for the fruit/nut one. These were in plain cellophane and probably came bulk packaged. I will catch her when she's home. But I think you've at least come close to what I had (sigh) Actually, I did think about it but decided I needed the food to get home!!!! Oh shucks, and here I thought I was helping by forwarding that little tidbit of
information. I did learn though that I need to stay out of Costco on Sundays .. probably the week-ends entirely. I swear you could walk through that place and eat an entire meal ... just by sampling. Our Costco is like that any day of the week, as long as it is before about
3pm, so if you want to avoid the samples, go after 3pm. Debbie "Joyce" wrote in message ... Oh shucks, and here I thought I was helping by forwarding that little tidbit of information. I am much better at Costco and only sampling foods that are
reasonable. Ask for bread without butter, skip the chicken wings and lasagna. Will sample the juice. I also go early generally before they have started the cooking! I guess I should admit to trying their fruit cake during the holiday
season. And then purchasing one the next visit! (G) It is cut up and frozen and gets taken on ski trips or hiking. Argh! Thanks for the info Deb. I don't do much shopping in the late afternoons,
usually is the family's busy time. Guess my best bet is to just avoid ... or sew my lips shut before entering the store. Points - Costco Breakfast Cookie?????
I somehow manage to hit the place when I have little to no self-control left, and
all that prepared food looks so wonderful. But the samples are small sized and I don't go for everything, so figure a handful of points will work as a guestimate. Last time hub and I just took one sample cup and shared it - enough for a taste and that's all we really wanted anyway.
