What made WW THE plan for all of you??
Others success, variety of menus...what??

This is interesting, because for me, it wasn't really WW, although I could
not have done it without WW. I had to CREATE the belief that I could. I read
a book somewhere along the way, that told of people who had lost and kept it
off. Then I read one on change, that helped me with how and I got "ready". I
had lost weight hundreds of times prior and regained and essentially
accepted that I was going to be some degree of fat, forever. I changed my
mind. On purpose. Then I did all the suggested stuff when I went back to WW,
and accepted the mistakes I made without Quitting, as I would have done all
the other times. I just didn't quit. The weeks I gained, I came here and
moaned and groaned. The weeks I lost I came here and celebrated. I bought
myself presents. It never was about the food, I eat what I like, but I try
all kinds of things, and now I LIKE healthy food. I never deny myself
something I really want to try, every birthday during my loss, I ate giant
onion rings and chocolate cake. The serving size was different than when I
was gaining all that weight, and frankly that Enhanced the enjoyment. I
savored One gigantic onion ring, rather than 3 or 4 (these are really giant,
really). I spent the same amount of time on that one, that would have been
spent on the four. My stomach felt good leaving the restaurant as opposed to
that feeling of "look out, this really hurts".... Just actually read all
that WW stuff they sent you, and TRY IT ALL until you find what works. The
time you spend could be spent gaining more weight......

Hi Kat,
I am new too...I bought the ww at home kit and finally received it.

I had been toying with low carb but can't manage to stay on anything
close

to
Atkins for more than a week or two. I enjoy the carby foods, such as
bread

and
pancakes...and I detest what I call *fakenfoods*.
Fakey foods created from permitted sorts of non-foods..made to resemble

the
real thing. Ugh!

So I end up bouncing between points and carbs, woefully indecisive.
What a pathetic admission.

What made WW THE plan for all of you??
Others success, variety of menus...what??

The times in my life I have been thin I was not eating very healthfully
at
all...I was low on everything..calories, proteins and fats!
And I was thin, but felt like I could blow away in a wind.
I am at 140 now which is about 20-25 pounds over my usual.
I love to see 120 again.
trying not to waver....
