Default wedding is 5 weeks away.

I posted in another thread regarding my fat arms, my pics of the dress that
I'm having altered to wear for my wedding.

Some other updates:
5 week count down.
2 weeks until my 2nd fitting when she will alter the waist/hips area (and
chest).

Ran a 5k (not a race) today, did it in 31:12. Not bad for being a lazy fart
for a while now.
Walked another 4 miles today too.

Stepped on the scale for the first time in a couple weeks today - and its up
to a higher than I'm comfortable with weight. Holiday eating - all the
carbs in the stuffing and tatters/gravy... I love that stuff, but there's a
reason I only eat it 2 times a year. Its so easy for me to lose track and
gain on that kind of food.

You don't have fat arms! And your back looks very muscular!

I'm a little slow these days and just saw your pictures. The dress is
gorgeous. Also, along with everyone else I think your arms look fine, your
back looks great. You must be in a warmer area than ours...I think I would
freeze. This is surely an exciting time for you. Are you wearing a veil?
Is this a valentine's wedding? Did I ask enough questions? I am a real
wedding junky.

Don't sweat it. You look much better than you think - we are our own worst
critics. Stress just compounds everything, so try to just maintain and
don't get worked up!

All wedding junkies - apply here. This chick needs help.

no veil. hair will be in the curly do that is seen in the 3rd row of pics.
But I need to embelish it a bit with "something" just haven't decided what
that something is. Fell in love w/ the fairy head dress from LOTR.

but that's a bit out of my price range. So I'm not sure yet. If you like
I can email pics of the hair and you can give me some input.

no, not a valentines wedding...

Location will be warm and more "tropical" of sorts. But will not disclose
that information on usenet. Sorry.

Maybe with your hair so curly and swirled up you could do something with
ribbons woven in and silk flowers....small, small small flowers, thinly
spaced and not too many with slender ribbon - nothing tacky or prom -y
looking. That way you could save them forever. that might give you the
look you like with the other headress which is so light and airy with a
woven feel. Also, when my mother in law was remarried I collected the
dryable flowers from her hair piece and bouquet and made her a small
grapevine wreath with the dried flowers and the ribbons .. Even though the
flowers are really faded and fragile all these years later she still has the
wreath hanging next to her bed. You could do this with silk flowers easily.
Good luck and have fun.

Maybe you can have your florist create something of a similar size and
shape, but made of little flowers with some silver or white ribbon and
embellishment?

good idea ... but I'm not going to even meet my florist until a couple days
before the wedding to pick out what I want for flowers.

Oh that is beautiful. i haven't been able to watch all the Rings videos
as the dog carries on during the war scenes. I don't think it needs
anything added but you could weave some small orchids in.
