No need to apologize and I hope that you aren't thinking that I'm being
defensive at your posts. I'm just trying to explain my lifestyle a bit
more.

Of course not. I mean, everyone has a different lifestyle, differing
food preferences, etc. I think that the key is finding out what works
for you. I was only saying that DH has some foods that I might get into
and I just moved them to another location where I am less likely to see
them. The out of site, out of mind thing works for me mostly. I do
sometimes get into his stash but it's normally only for the individually
packed pitted prunes that I keep for his lunches (I keep the prunes and
sometimes raising or dole fruit cups for him because he gets sick of the
fruits and veggies that I keep around for me)

You did sense angst but it's not from food. Food is what I'm turning
to because of the angst. I seem to be battling personal demons inside and
I'm not really on track with the food.

I understand. It's a double whammy. The outside issues that you are
dealing with are exacerbating the food issues that you would like to get
a handle on. For me, since I have more direct control of the food
issues I try to focus there but that's not always easy.

Hang in there!
