Default Atkins Site down?

I've been having trouble access www.atkins.com. Anyone know anything
about it? Do you have access to it? Is it just me?

Thanks.

Just checked. Seems fine to me. It's been two hours since you posted.
Things clear up on your end yet?

Getting on the site is a hit or miss proposition. I have even emailed them
suggesting they get a new server as their current one only seems to work
when it wants to. I have broadband and it can take forever to load if it
loads at all. I shudder to think what someone with a dial-up connection
goes through.

How odd. I also have broadband and it loads with no trouble. I'm wondering
if there is congestion perhaps because of the viruses overloading the net in
some places.

That is actually something I hadn't thought of. Now that I think about it,
it does seem that when I first started going there, about 3 - 5 weeks ago,
it was loading a lot faster. I'm wondering if the server could still be the
issue. Not being able to handle the increased traffic and/or poor virus
protection.
