So, I decided yesterday (while I was out hiking on the mountain :-) )
that it's time to stop posting my food & exercise to the list. I
don't think it's a tool I need any longer. My long-term goal has
always been to be able to live life as a normal-weight person with a
normal relationship with food and exercise, and I think the tabulating
involves a bit more obsessiveness about those things than I want for
the long term. So I plan to continue living as I do but not making
daily lists.

I do plan to keep reading ASD and participating in discussions.

This is a bit like the thirteenth step of a twelve step program,
moving beyond recovery to a new status of health. If one in
a thousand acheives that it's a lot.

And still a mentor for folks to try to emulate. Thanks for staying.

Thanks for your kind words, Doug.

Thanks, Neil. You've been an inspiration to everyone here as well.
I'm in awe of your bicycling transformation!

I'll stick around. But I hope the list gets back to having a bit more
interesting content, rather than so much spam and political gibberish.

I thought you might be interested in looking at Ruths photos of bike

Fascinating! I may have missed it, but when are you planning to set
out? And are you going alone?
