Phff. Denzel Washington. He has the self confidence to not

project
the "I'm cool" vibe as a replacement for manliness. Sometimes
George Cluney reaches that place, but sometimes he falls victim

to
the 'jerkies' when he trys to act tough. Depends on the role.
However, personally I prefer dark puppy dog eyes, like Robert

Downey
Jr has. So I married some.

George Clooney, yes, but Denzel Washington can't see being a man's

man
personality-wise. Maybe it's the roles he chooses. I didn't think

he
fit the Easy Rawlins character. Martin Lawrence would have been my
choice for Easy Rawlins.

You have GOT to be kidding. Martin Lawrence is loathesome.

Not to guys, he isn't.

But martin, that's another thread. This thread is about what the
ladies think.

What do you ladies think of Jack Black? Saving Silverman and High Fidelity
were classic! (Of course, there's Shallow Hal, in which Jack Black did a
good job even if the story was borderline.)

Um, pass. Not what you think, I'm sure. It's the kind of comedy he
does. It's like watching a particularly painful version of high
school geekiness. I've never found that sort of thing funny.

Oh naturally. (It's going to be my trademark)

Seen "Dead Like Me" yet?

Nope. Any good?

Hubby and I like it pretty well.

When he was much younger, circa "Princess Bride," I used to get him
confused with Kevin Kline.

My name is Indigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
Loved it.

I love Jack Black. I can't say that I find him sexually alluring in
any way, but God, he makes me laugh -- and he's got one helluva set of
pipes.

Inigo! I assume that Indigo was a typo. Once one of my sister's friends
left that message on our answering machine, and my dad heard it and freaked
out. He said, "Honey -- some crazy guy named Inigo thinks you killed his
father! What's going on?"

I liked him a lot in Shallow Hal, but I can't say I find him attractive. I
don't find him unattractive -- he's just there. There are some actors who
are not stereotypically attractive that I find incredibly appealing. Bob
Hoskins is one of them. He is so amazingly talented, he just creates this
special allure. The other is Paul Giamatti. His genius, his brilliance --
I just -- he is so incredible. I have had a crush on him for a long, long,
long time.
