can do to stop themselves. While its true that they might have a medical
condition that doesn't give them the "will power" to handle their overeating
on their own, they refuse to consult a doctor or psychiatrist about it and
just continue to overeat.

For me, when I ate sugar and starches, and fillers and additives, I
desperately needed willpower. Now that I stopped eating all that
garbage, what I thought was an "innate drive" to over eat is simply an
addiction to sugar. Take away the garbage, and I can eat like the
normallest of normal people

Same here. When I look back on how a high-carb diet affected my body, I'm
amazed.

That's actually very funny, speaking as a Person of Size.

Of course, I'm comfortable enough with my embaressment over my weight to
exclaim "a me-sized desk" when I find a chair and separate table in a
classroom full of uni-desks..

The whole world says Americans are lazy and overweight. Maybe NAAFA would
boycott every country in which their people think that...

As for me, Bizarro has gained one reader from all of this.

Get a life. It's not even offensive. It's an airplane cabin with fat people
stuck in their seats, and an announcement being made saying "Welcome to
London. Once the other passengers have exited the plane, we will begin
prying any remaining Americans from their seats."

www.spokane.net/bizarro.asp open Monday April 5's comic.

Well, thanks. I couldn't access the OP's link.

It IS pretty funny. Sorry if some folks are offended, but there is
precious little humor (even in comic strips) these days that doesn't
somehow offend somebody. I guess tact and humor cancel each other out.
