Summer is here and calories just moved into town...
It's ice cream season and Cold Stone Creamery just moved into town. I
grabbed their nutritional information from the website. These numbers are before they start mixing in your chosen ingredients. Ouch!! http://www.coldstonecreamery.com/ima...rans2a_170.pdf -- Cheese http://cheesensweets.com/contact/cheese |

I discovered them on one of my trips to the Mayo Clinic so now I'm only allowed there after major surgery The sugar free vanilla with the fruit mixed in isn't completely awful calorie wise and it actually tastes good. -- the volleyballchick |

the 170 g serving weight "like it" in the 400 calorie range is
acceptable in moderation Cheese wrote: It's ice cream season and Cold Stone Creamery just moved into town. I grabbed their nutritional information from the website. I hardly ever go there because it's expensive and calorie-laden of course, but when I do go, I ask for a child size cup of whatever ice cream I get. It's a little better than going for the big sizes. |

From what i read, ice cream can be consumed as part of the 1.500
calories we need a day. If we want to eat ice cream it should be less than 250 calories. The point is, we are allowed to eat ice cream as long as the measure is right. Enjoy your ice creams guys! Conny http://sweetpaprika.lipblogs.com |

Ouch!! http://www.coldstonecreamery.com/ima...rans2a_170.pdf -- Cheese http://cheesensweets.com/contact/cheese Thing that kills me is that there is one on my noon walk and I can smell them making the waffle cones fresh. I could care less about the ice cream, it's just the smell of freshly made waffle cones that gets me... Had fun walking to church the other day from work (2.8mi) I passed just about every restaurant you could think of. I caught whiffs of General's Chicken (Chinese food), hot pepperoni pizza(Little Caesars, Papa Johns, & Pizza Hut), burgers (BK, McD's, Wendy's), & tacos (Taco Bell). Wasn't tempted, just interesting that my sense of smell has become more acute since losing weight. Before I started losing weight I don't think I would have noticed it as much (but then again I wouldn't have been walking by them either)... Matty (I weighed more than Jared from Subway) 481/262/225 (starting weight/current weight/goal weight) First mini goal achieved - 104lbs lost 10/26/04 Second mini goal achieved - 137lbs lost 01/28/05 Third mini goal achieved - 183lbs lost 09/30/05 Fourth mini goal achieved - 204lbs total lost 01/30/06 Fifth mini goal - 231lbs total lost by 05/31/06 |

There is a pizza establishment at one of the local amusement parks and I avoid going near it. It just smells awful. I'm becoming much the same way about Subway's. I used to like their Turkey subs but lately I steer clear of them at the mall and in the local groceries because I don't like the smell. Too bad I don't have this problem with bakeriesG Beverly |
