Everyone has to be good at something!

Have you considered getting a job as a personal shopper? Can I be your first
client?

My size 10s were a hair large (I thought), especially through the

tailfeathers,
so I went SHOPPING today. What a farce. I don't know what happened to

sizes,
'cause I know I haven't changed all THAT much since last fall. The size I

fit
in depended completely on the cut of the pants and (to a lesser degree) on

the
maker. I already knew that, even from maker to maker, the size I wore

varied.
But I was still surprised with what I ended up coming home with.

I have 6's that are too big, 9's that are too small. Some are baggy in the
butt but too tight in the waist, some are too tight in the thigh but fit
everywhere else, and almost all of them are too long... I have 35" hips and
a 27.5" waist, plus I have a 28.5" inseam - I'm almost impossible to buy
pants for. Land's End (www.landsend.com) has an option where you enter all
of your own personal dimensions and the "build" a pair of pants for you.
It's spendy, $54, but they ought to fit pretty darned good at that price!

It seems like NONE of us can find pants. Makes you wonder who the
manufacturers are making all of these jeans/pants for, doesn't it?

My pants range from size 1 (ha!) to 9 in juniors and 2 to 6 in misses and
only one pair fits well and is flattering. You'd think that wearing 8
diferent sizes, I'd have more luck.
