Default I'm "normal"

According to the CDC, the range of BMI for normal weight is: 18.5 to 24.9

The CDC online calculator shows that my BMI is now: 24.4

(based on 5' 8" and 160.8 lbs.)

http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/calc-bmi.htm

If I were 122 pounds, I would be at 18.5 and the low end of "normal."

Thanks.

When I get to maintenance, someday, I plan to return to low carb dining out.
Also, I plan to buy lots of nuts.

I don't miss cake or potatoes. Last night I was watching "Six Feet Under"
and I got some twinges watching Rico's wife eat spaghetti. However, it was
a low calorie day, and images of any food might have caused trouble.

Congrats! Are you going to celebrate? Any interesting maintenance
plans?

Just curious, do you miss carby foods like cake or potatoes etc?

Congratulations! Isn't it a strange feeling, to be 'normal'? ;-)

(I had to Google him.)

Well, maybe so... Except for the hair...

I have read the best life expectancy is with a BMI of 18.

My concern is opposition from family and friends.

Thanks. It was a surprise too. I was curious what my BMI was, and
discovered my new status.
