Default week 193 girly news

lost.8 so back in the right direction I think there is something to not
enough fat in the diet and women's cycles, I did really well eating the
required fat this week and a TOM event occurred so since it was particularly
hideous I think maybe I have not been getting enough fat and this is part of
why I haven't been losing. This is going to be another week of core as I
lost and TOM is done so now we will see if that fat is in fact part of the
deal. The thing I really like about WW is that I have the freedom to try
different things and keep learning about my body and how it reacts to
different types of foods. I hope you all have a great week, will be busy
again at work this week, Lee

"Not getting enough fat???!!!" That's the stupidest thing I've read on this
NG.

This "core" stuff is nonsense. Everyone on this NG knows what it takes to
lose weight. Just eat properly!!! Stay under 2,000 calories daily and
totally stop the "treats". You don't need WW's hand in your pocket. Just
control what you eat.

Simple. Or are you too weak to control your gluttony?

Default Pasta with Fresh Tomatoes

I came across this recipe in Taste of Home magazine. My SIL and I prepared
it a few nights ago and it was very good. It probably doesn't need 3 tbsp.
of butter. Next time I will try just 1 tbsp. or perhaps 1 tbsp. of olive
oil instead.

Pasta with Fresh Tomatoes

8 oz. uncooked linguine
3 medium tomatoes, chopped
6 green onions, sliced
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh basil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. butter

Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large serving
bowl, combine the tomatoes, onions, parmesan cheese, basil, garlic, salt and
pepper. Drain pasta and toss with butter. Add to tomato mixture and toss
to coat.

Yield 6 servings

1 cup equals 211 calories
9 grams fat
2 grams fibre

Default Pasta with Fresh Tomatoes

I'll let you know. I'm making it for myself tonight using whole wheat
pasta. DH will be having sausages and scalloped potatoes. DS and I will be
having this pasta recipe and steamed broccoli (one of DS's favorites).
