September Challengers: Post your Finals Here!!!
Sadly, I'm still at 191. But happily, I wasn't trying very hard, so it's
nice to know that even when I don't try too hard, just staying with the WOE allows me to maintain. Chakolate -- One of the lessons of history is that nothing is often a good thing to do and always a clever thing to say. --Will Durant |

This brings me to the magical number of 150 pounds. Next loss will take me into the 140's, which is territory I haven't seen in years. And I _really_ need to get a couple of new pairs of jeans. These size 14 ones I'm wearing are getting really loose. 208/150/130 Started 3/1/04 |

Hi, Carol Ann!
I'm am SO very happy to report that I'm down to 196 (maybe even 195, but let's call it 196). I must have had a 'whoosh' of about 3 pounds. It took me to my '100lbs Lost' milestone, too. I can see my goal ahead of me---I KNOW that I'm going to make it!! What worked for me? I think really counting the cals and keeping my carbs close to my CCLL (still trying to discover it, but I think it's around 30). Also, I credit a new, less obsessive attitude toward losing. Congratulations to everyone on losses and maintenance!
My goal for this month was to lose 5lb, and get within 3lb of my goal weight, but that didn't happen. I am still at my start weight for Sept. I'm glad I didn't gain anything, and hope to do better next month. In my case, redoubling the efforts backfired. The stricter I got with the food choices, the more I binged. So my goal for October is to concentrate on getting my emotions under control and stopping the binging. I got Overcoming Binge Eating book by Fairburn. Let's see if it works. Elana |

: http://tinyurl.com/66bvu ---Recent Pictures of Morgan : : She's getting so big! And cute! How long/heavy is she now? Thank you! Last time we checked she was 2 feet 2 1/2" tall and weighed nearly 18 lbs. That was more than a month ago. Morgan will get her next check up on October 5th. I believe she will be at least 2 feet 4 inches tall and weigh 20 lbs. She is in the 96th percentile. It's shocking to me. She already has 3 1/4 top teeth and her 2 bottom teeth. She's 6 months old. Morgan can sit up on. Hold herself up on the side of the playpen and crib. She can make it from one end of the room to the other in no time at all. Are they supposed to grow this fast??? How is your little one?? ~Carol Ann : Tara : Mum to Madison 28 March 2004 - my 29th birthday : www.dazzled.com/lowcarb - my lowcarb story : http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~tjharris/ - pics of Madison : New Zealand |
