obesity rates by state
There have been a few stories in the news about the recent numbers of obese
people broken down by state. DH and I heard on the radio that Wisconsin was 28th and were surprised that it was in the lower half. The perception is that there are a lot of obese people in Wisconsin. The rankings are on page 3 of this .pdf file http://healthyamericans.org/newsroom...ease082305.pdf Looks like Wisconsin has a lower obesity rate than all of its surrounding states. It also looks like the southeast (minus Florida) has the highest % of obesity. -- the volleyballchick |
