Dieting Truths

I agree Doug, Every time I hear crap like this on tv I get a little angry. These tv people treat us like idiots. Of course we know that moderation will cause me to lose weight. Of course we know that running a calorie deficit will cause me to lose weight. I have been low carbing it since 1999. I am finally in a place, after a lifetime of fad diets, where I feel comfortable. I started low carb because my wife was diagnosed with type 2. I decided after what I saw in her improvement to share her no carb diet. After three days of hell, I felt the best I had in 20 years. After a year, I was unable to keep up the no carb regimen. I went to low carb. That means for me, no bread, pasta, fruit, grains, or any other simple or complex carbohydrates. I eat lots of very complex carbohydrates. It was easy for me to maintain this regimen because I am not hungry and because I know how I felt eating lots of carbs. Hi carb makes you feel 20 years older. My wife has perfectly normal blood glucose levels without taking any medications. Her health made a dramatic improvement. Her doctor told her that eating no carb would kill her in six months. Well, it is 10 years down the road and she is very healthy. I did not mean to say she has been on no carb for 10 years. She started eating some very complex carbohydrates after a couple of years of huge weight loss. Or busy, or [excuse of preference]. *What's it to you if other people happen to live a life that's not yours? And yet people who can do that assume that everyone can and post crap like moderation is the key. *Idiots, if moderation worked there would be no fat people. *I'ts not like there's a single fat person in the world who hasn't tried moderation and eventually got overcome by endless nagging hunger. What it's to me is the noise and nonsense it generates. Part of why I'm such a big low carb fan is I am able to lose without hunger while low carbing. *A week or two of hunger to clean my body out of stored glycogen carbs until the cravings turn off, then without hunger most of the way down towards my ideal weight range. *Sigh, if only lack of hunger and easy to stay on meant hard to fall off. *Even with low carb, going over a certain carb intake level means turning on the cravings all over again. *Find a system that's hard to fall off of and you'll be in the Forbes 400. That's no good reason for hate. "Never attribute to malice what can adequately by explained by incompetence". *This suggests that the morons who post what appears to be hate is actually just flawed logic by folks without the intellectual capacity to figure out something as simple as the fact that the malls are filled with fat people means the simple and obvious doesn't work. *Ah if that level of reasoning only applied to the trolls who post fatty insults ...- Masquer le texte des messages précédents - - Afficher le texte des messages précédents - Could you write down for us in details your average daily menu? |

Dieting Truths
Now that's funny!
pcb "Eaton_Wings" wrote in message ... One of life's mysteries is how a 2 pound box of candy can make a woman gain 5 lbs. Skinny people irritate me! Especially when they say things like, "You know, sometimes I just forget to eat." Now I've forgotten my address, my mother's maiden name, and my keys. But I've never forgotten to eat. You have to be a special kind of stupid to forget to eat. I know what Victoria's Secret is. The secret is that nobody older than 30 can fit into their stuff. I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting my pantyhose on fire. |
