Exercise causing exhaustion?
I started an exercise regimen about six weeks ago that includes 20
minutes of cardio and 45 minutes of weight training four times a week. It seems that it is making me more exhausted - after my workout, I feel the need to come home and sleep for a couple of hours even though I have gotten a full night's sleep the night before. Any ideas on what is going on and what I can do to avoid this exhaustion? I don't really have the time to nap in the middle of the day. |

Also, it's not best to do weight lifting after cardio, or even the other way around. After one you'll be too tired to do the other properly. There are many different views on combining weight training and cardio. Personally I like to warm up with a short run on the treadmill before doing weight training. YMMV but for me it works best. http://exercise.about.com/cs/exbegin...limplement.htm http://exercise.about.com/cs/exercis.../weight101.htm |
