Default Low Calorie

Hi-
I just came across this newsgroup, it doesn't look very active but I was
glad to see it was here.
After struggling with a 20 lb weight gain, due to some medical issues, I
have decided to do a hard core low cal diet. I am starting out with a goal
of less than 500 calories a day. Although for the past 3 days on the
average I have had about 225. I am down 6 pounds and so excited. I plan on
doing the real low calories for 2 more days then maybe bumping up to 1000
for a few days. I hope that works.
I am eating some fruit and mostly veggies. I exercise every day. I think
this is a great way to shock my body as every one says you need to do.
I would love any feedback from people who live low cal lives. What foods do
you favor that are very low calorie???
J
