I doubt they work. Heck, I wonder about protein mixes and vitamin
pills as it is!

What exactly do you wonder?

Read the labels and be reassured.

In Australia, at least, all the ingredients are listed, and on vitamin
tablet labels, there is the statutory requirement to notify that these
supplements are only of any use where diet is inadequate, and a
dietary deficiency exists.
