Default Hello, I am new

Hi, everyone!

Wow! is this group active or WHAT?? LOL! I am 36, have PCOS and although I
have heard about Dr. Atkins sins I was a teenager 20 yrs ago, I never really
knew what the plan was about or ever read the book. People just kept saying
it was a "dangerous fad diet". Well, the past few years I have seen others'
results and finally learned about what it is and want to try it. I have
tried everything and it hasn't worked; hopefully, this will. I lost about
40+ lbs. on another plan but gave up on it because it was inconvenient to
follow. I have my book, carb counters and I am ready to go. Please be
patient if I ask stupid questions but will try my best not to ask all the
typical newbie questions that are answered from reading the book!

Hi Shawntelle, I wish you great success with low carbing. It's
definitely the easiest to stick to long term IMO. Good luck and post
often.

Hi Shawntelle,

Welcome to the group! I have found that this group me helps tremendously. If
I'm wondering about a certain topic about LC I can usually find it discussed
on here, so I read a lot more than I post.

I also have PCOS plus I'm a T2 diabetic, so the LC way of life is literally
saving mine. This is my 2nd time on the plan. I lost 30 lbs. in 2001, got
pregnant with my son and am now trying to take the weight off in hopes of
trying for baby #2 next spring/summer (plus for the obvious health reasons).

Congrats on making this decision & I wish you all the best!

Default Hello, I am new

That is my main motivation for doing this as well: pregnancy. We have been
trying for 4yrs and then i got pregnant and had a miscarriage just as I
entered my 5th month. Then suddenly, I gained 70 lbs. I was alarmed and went
to my doc who diagnosed me. the first thing she said was. "umm, maybe
someone will tell you I am a quack to say this but have you tried the Atkins
Diet?" Then I found soulcyster.com by luck and they were saying the same
thing! I thought maybe i should really look into it. My doctor feels that if
i lose the weight, that I should be able to get pregnant again, so that is
what I am trying to do. I hope to start induction Friday morning, but I am
nervous to say the least. Still, i need to change my fat life. I am sick of
Lane Bryant and Roaman's.

Yeah, yeah, everyone has PCOS, but mostly they are just fat, stupid, and
lazy with no sense of self control.

Hello, JC (if that's your real name, loser)

I can tell by your post and signature that you are a moron. I have seen your
past insensitive, rude, ignorant, yet uncreative remarks and have concluded
that you must sit up late at night reading the responses to your stupid
posts while yanking on your ******, while laughing hideously. Well, this is
the only time i will ever respond to you, you piece of scum lower than a
****-pot because you can get your orgasm off someone else you, tosser. You
are so full of ****, that the only thing you are good for is to be scraped
off my shoe and to be fertilizer. I bet if you laid down in the grass,
flowers would sprout out your arse because you are so rich and overflowing
with crap. Have a nice day asshole.
