dissapointment

Hello my friends!
I was at Publix Grocery Store last night & i saw a low carb section with
Atkins products so i was craving for some pasta so i try the Atkins
spagheti made with soy. Oh my God even after a month starvation you
can't chew those shoe laces lol. $ 5.99 for the box. Please stay away
from those.

What kind of pasta were you craving? I find that when I have pasta
cravings, if I identify which flavor I'm craving (mac & cheese, spaghetti
sauce, etc) then make a sauce with that flavor and have it over mild
tasting veggies like cauliflower or mushrooms, then it satisfies the
craving. If you think about it, plain pasta doesn't really taste like
anything. Thinly sliced, overcooked mushrooms approximate the texture of
pasta enough for me. It's not perfect, but I'm sure it tastes better than
the stuff you bought, lol!

I have only 3 flaws. My first flaw is thinking that I only have 3 flaws.

My favorite low carb pasta is spaghetti squash. Just put you sauce on that
and it is excellent.

and it is excellent.

I tried that once, with spaghetti squash, and a tomato sauce. It wan't to my
liking. Yet others in my family liked it. What other sort of sauces would be
good and low carb to add to the squash?

Pasta is not low carb.

I put some shrimp and scallops in an alfredo type sauce on it. Being lazy I
buy ready made sauce.

I don't like tomato sauces with spaghetti squash either. But cream or cheese
sauces, like alfredo, are delicious.
