I want to know where this subject line comes from :-). I gather it's
a song -- sounds like an amusing one.

funnier than just about any Weird Al Yankovic song...

So Cosmo says you're fat
Well I ain't down with that!
'Cause your waist is small and your curves are kickin'
And I'm thinkin' bout stickin'
To the beanpole dames in the magazines:
You ain't it, Miss Thing!
Give me a sista, I can't resist her
Red beans and rice didn't miss her

Now, Dalley,
I happen to know for sure that you look great. You have lost a lt of
weight and should be very proud of yourself. We all can't weigh 110,
but that doesn't mean that we can't loose weight, up the oin where we
are at optimum health. You are getting very close.

Thanks, Carolyn! But I think you need a new nickname... this one won't
describe you for long. :-)

I am so excited to see you here. A lot of us find that just coming here
and reading the group keeps us focused on this weight loss journey.
Sometimes the smallest things can come together to make the whole thing

That's what bad lighting and cold water do to you...

Try taking a digital picture of your behind after a warm shower and in
more favorable lighting conditions (sun behind the photographer).

I assure you, I never try to get a view of my behind. That was part of
a larger crowd scene and I just snipped out the part with me in it. (My
middle son is in the water by my elbow, my daughter is in the tube near
my head dressed in red.) I was not and won't be posing for ass shots.

Okay, okay.

Look at your left upper thigh (which is well lighted), it looks very
good.

Part of what bothers me is that my hip and thigh measurements have been
dropping. I'm really losing that last-to-go fat. I think it's leaving
that loose puckery skin that has plagued me all along.

Then you may look great in tight jeans.

I mean, if the skin is not going away, what can you do?

At 38, as far as I understand from reading websites and newsgroups
(which is not much), your extra skin might actually go away after a
while.

Your upper back looks anatomically strange though.

Uh, thanks. I've got a very strong upper back - it doesn't hold much
fat and I lift weights 3x a week. I suspect what you're seeing are
muscles and bones. I assure you they are the normal complement.

Maybe it was the lighting. It was as though your sjkin was folding
onto your back.

Anyhow, obviously, you do not have a 18 year tennis player's old's
legs, but they are looking much better once you correct for the bad
light angle and do a still picture.

You are not done losing weight, either...

All in all, you look pretty nice.

Thanks. I thought so too before I saw that picture.

You know, looks are all in the eye of the beholder. I am going to get
flamed for this by some angry persons of this newsgroup, but, for me,
cellulite does not make women look un-sexy, unless it is also
accompanied by large quantity of fat.

Now if someone could tell me how to get rid of my man boobs (which did
become a lot smaller, but have not gone away), I would be greatly
interested. Check out http://igor.chudov.com/weightloss/ for the 2004
picture.

Actually, you look pretty hot in that Sep 2003 pic Your 'man boobs' as
you call them look like buff pecs in that shirt!

Um, thanks. I have reasonably large pecs due to pushups and pullups
and dips that I do. But there is also more fat on them than I would
like. It is not as apparent when I raise my arms.

You look fantastic! Well done.

Thank you Annabel. I saw your web age too, you look athletic, on your
ice skating photos.

Thanks. Not just so bad - but that green dress is far more flattering
than my favourite red one! I want to lose weight basically to fit into
the red dress better (it's newer!)

I also looked at your website, but I went via Google, failing to
notice that you'd put your web page address at the bottom of your
posts! It seems you have a very busy and varied life - good for you.
