Start Over was : Downward spiral

Downward spiral
You have come looking so of course you can turn this all around...I came
around last December...I also was fed up with what was going on with my weight...That day I went to my first meeting...It has now been 26 weeks...I've lost 56 Lbs and for the first time I really feel I'm on the right road...You must also find out what works for you...There are no miracles here and you will have many ups and downs...Just don't give up..You succeeded in gaining and can also succeed in losing...Many of us fight many demons...The support here is superb and the people are wonderful...Most importantly you need to know you are not alone...GG wrote in message ups.com... i have never been on one of these sites, but i feel that my recent weight gain is sending me into depression, anxiety attacks and seclusion. i am 39 years old, went through chemotherapy 2 years ago, which included the use of steroids. my husband and i got custody of our 1 1/2 year old grandson about 9 months ago. so, i quit smoking 5 months ago and have gained about 20 more pounds. i don't seem to have the willpower or energy i used to have as far as watching my weight. once i started gaining, i just said "ah whatever, i don't care" i cry all the time, and don't ever look in a mirror, i refuse to get changed in the same room as my husband and will not allow him in the bathroom if i am laying in the tub. can anyone come up with ANY suggestions? |
