I am going to take the plunge and commit myself to a low carb way of living.
I am looking for someone who has success in this area and has maintained
weight loss utilizing the Atkins diet, and would be able to spend a few
minutes a day to help me with my food plan and induction and provide a
little hope. I am sincere about this and will not be wasting your time with
redundant questions or whining.

Thanks!

Cameron

There are many people on the group who have had great success and would
be happy to answer your questions. All you have to do is ask the
questions, preferably after you've read the book. Good luck.

That's what this group is all about. Ask any questions you like and
they will probably be answered within an hour or less sometimes. With
this group you have hundreds, if not thousands of mentors at your
fingertips.

Your idea of a mentor that has kept the weight off is great. I started back
on 06/09/03. Lost more weight than I had planned. Went from 158.5 to
132-134. Just wanted to get to 138. The weight is staying off and no hunger.
Now I am trying to gain a few pounds. I think I have figured out how this
WOE works, but more importantly, I think I know how to keep it off. If you
want a plan that will help you lose and make you feel a lot better, email me
at . And I'm eating whole wheat bread and whole wheat pasta!

Cameron. Id be happy to help you. I've been thinkign what a great idea
that is to ask for help from a mentor!!

You definitely have the right idea to ask for help and be brave enough
to do so.

I've been on atkins since July 13. Im doing great. I lost quite a lot
of inches plus around 15 lbs . (I only have 25 to lose total).

If you'd like to have a female 'mentor" Id be happy to assist you. I
wished I had a personal 'coach" at the beginning myself.

Cameron,
In addition to this NG, there is a chatroom that some of us frequent.
TurkeyLady is usually there throughout the week after 8:30pm central time.
She has been doing this for quite a while now and has also maintained her
goal weight. Check it out and watch for her "invitation to chat" postings:
