According to FitDay I burn about 1600 kcal a day.

So far I've been eating about 1400 kcal a day.

I haven't lost any weight yet, but I'm hoping it will work in a couple of
weeks. I like food too much to restrict it to less than 1200 kcal a day.

I hope to go from 115 pounds to 110 pounds in 3 months. I'm 4'11".

That's my first mini goal...110 pounds.

I'll check in here to let you know how I'm doing.

Starting weight: 115
Current weight: 115
1st mini goal: 110
Goal weight: 100

Fitday tends to overestimate calories burned, although I have to say
that 1600/day doesn't sound unreasonable. Setting your lifestyle level
to 'sedentary' will give you the most accurate BMR.

I only weigh 115 because I'm really short.

I should probably aim for about 1200 calories a day...

10 times 115 isn't even 1200 cal yet.

At the beginning of this week I was eating about 1400 calories because I was
used to eating a lot, but now I'm getting used to eating less.

I'm going to try to aim for 1200 calories a day now.

Today I ate 1030 calories and I feel quite satisfied. I think I can do this!

I haven't had junk food in several days now and I don't crave it right now.

I've given up on trying to lose 2 pounds/week. I'm aiming to lose 5 pounds
in 63 days right now.

Are you planning on doing any exercise, Jenny?

I exercise sometimes. I do it when I remember to. I have this exercise bike
in front of the tv. I use it sometimes when I'm watching tv.

These last couple of days I haven't exercised because I'm too busy with
studying for final exams.

I'm planning to exercise more after my exams....maybe go for walks everyday.
Walking outside should be nice soon with the warmer weather coming around.
:-)

I have to walk because I'm too out of shape to run or jog.

I work full time and go to school part time, so I know how hard it can
be to find extra time in the middle of all that to exercise. You might
consider a pair of dumbbells and a swiss ball - having the stuff right
here at home to get in a quick weight lifting session makes it that much
easier for me to make sure I do it, and that much harder to come up with
excuses not to.

Walking is good too, but I find that weight training is the best thing I
can do for myself, especially if I only have fifteen minutes a day to
devote to exercise.
