Default Red Bull...

I'm sure it's been out for awhile, but I just discovered a few days ago
that "Red Bull" is available in sugar free... Yay!
At last, a diet drink that is not so sweet as to be undrinkable.

A bit pricey at $1.50 per can, but it's a nice "pick me up" in the
morning since I don't drink coffee.

It's been out for more than awhile in these parts, but yeah, it is a nice
sugar free pick-me-up.

Red Bull has lots of caffeine. I drink coffee so no objection from
me. Folks who avoid caffeine could have issues with it.

What about the other ingredients? It has amino acids and such.

And B vitamins...

I can handle caffeine, I just don't do well with coffee.
Something in it just does not like me.

There is also a brand called Monster Energy which has a low carb version as
well. I like the Monster stuff better, and it is also cheaper. Their website
is http://www.monsterenergy.com. The low carb version says it has 3g of
sugars, so keep that in mind. The 3g doesn't bother me, but it might for
some people.

Cool! I'll look around for that, thanks!
I made a BIG mistake last night tho'.
I worked the night shift and made the mistake of drinking 2 cans of Red
Bull... I am also on Adderall (20 mg XR time release) and took it about
1 hour before going to work.

Don't mix amphetamines and caffiene... Bad idea! :-P

Red Bull does not say how much caffiene it has per can but I'm betting
it's at least 200 mg.???

I've tried several. I liked Monster LC except for that 3 grams of glucose.
:-) Good price at Trader Joe's though.

I thought Red Bull was OK. And I recently saw it being sold by the case at
Costco, but didn't check the price.

There's also a couple from SoBe; Diet No fear and SF Adrenaline Rush.
http://www.sobebev.com/about/press-release.asp?prid=125

But my favorite is Diet Rockstar. No sugar, and more B vitamins. Tastes
better than Monster to me.
http://www.rockstar69.com/new_html/diet.html

It is expensive in 8-ounce cans, but I usually find it in 16, as shown at
the site above, and recently found it in 24-ounce "Triple Strength" cans for
$1.19 each. The 8-oz was $1.59.

I don't recommend sipping this one while driving down the freeway. That big
can looks like you're chugging a Foster's to certain persons wearing
badges... :-)
