This BBW is a real go getter. Most of the fat bashers here couldn't
keep up with her.

You consider being mobile and doing some very light work with some
very light weights, and a big foam banana fit? I could do this stuff
when I was 41.5 lbs heavier than today, and had trouble scaling 10
flights of stairs.

When I see her carry a load of laundry + detergent up a four story
walkup, then we can talk about fit.

PS- People in ASDLC are committed to weightloss and improving their
lot. You might be a BBW and have given up on every dropping the first
B, but some people aren't interested in your particular insanity. I,
like many others in this group and the others you have cross posted
to, am a lot more fit for losing some poundage. I am a lot better off
for having discovered a nutrient dense, sustainable way of living and
would kindly ask you to sell your crazy somewhere else. We got plenty
of our own without importing it from a fat acceptance group.

-Hollywood, with a dream goal of being able to deadlift that allegedly
fit person.

I saw this program when it aired on CNN. The BBW[sic] in the video
truly believes that she is fit. It's definitely not the conventional
definition of fit.

If you consider waddling being "mobile".

and doing some very light work with some
very light weights,

She eats sandwiches that weigh more.

If she has good genes, she might live a long time at that weight, but
as she gets older, her joints are going to give her trouble even if
she doesn't develop the heart problems or diabetes or other fat-
related illnesses. Perhaps if somebody has given up on losing
weight, it makes sense to do what she is doing too so you aren't
discouraged and depressed about your weight, but I wouldn't call it
healthy. Let's say it doesn't set a good example to say hell with it
and just go on way overweight for most people. She did seem happy in
the interview, though and that prevents us from ever giving up. Some
of us simply would not be happy being that much overweight, and that
is the drive to diet even if we have to do it over and over. dkw

Why is it you people over at the fat acceptance newsgroup seem to

think we
over here at Low Carb diet support are bashing you all of the

time?? We don't post our ravings on your newsgroup so why do you
feel the
need to
shove yours down our throats?
Frankly we are to busy taking care of our own things to worry about

your
problems so why bother? If I was going to do any kind of bashing it

would
not be about being fat RUDENESS would more than cover it.

Sorry folks - we've got a lot of trolls at ssf-a, and many like
to
crosspost. Rudeness is exactly right.

Robin

That thread was started by a fat acceptor, lying Robin.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Robin King and Real BBW
are one in the same? They both write equally stupid **** and never
provide cites when requested when they reference "studies" with
questionable conclusions.

The only evidence against my theory is Real BBW has enough sense to
control the line length of its posts. Robin King is too stupid to
figure that out for herself.

That was the fat birds point, wasn't it!

Hey Yeah!! Next time I'm on a 600km hilly bike ride, she can come along
too - would be fun to watch.

Like you could do any better!

You and the rest of the fat bashers are just miffed because she blows
away the stereotype that people can't be fit and fat. This lady is a
hero in the fat acceptance movement and for good reason.
