Default Nearly 4 Months now

Well its almost 4 months since I started this low carb trail.

In fact I am having difficulty remembering how long I have been at this, I
dont count anymore, unlike when I first started.........but as I always said
the passage of time, combined with discipline will\should reveal results.

I am down...almost 2 stone in weight (28Ibs for our stateside friends) but
most dramatic is the loss of inches.
I am wearing summer clothes I could not even get NEAR fitting in to this
time last year, and were lucky to survive a wardrobe clearout.
My previously HUGE (and I mean HUGE ) gut is well on the way to going (first
time I haven`t had a huge cantalever over my trouser belt in years)

All in all I feel good.

I have increased my carb intake slightly, but avoid (haven`t had cakes
bread, chocolates) since i started.

I have started to allow myself wine at weekends (we do need a life after
all) Cravings I had none as I recall, but
have had stalls, weeks were no weight has shifted on the scales, but inches
have been coming off.

But in anycase I dont bother with the scales as much now, I know weight is
coming off because of the clothing situation.

So its onwards and upwards, If I can do it so can anyone else, just a matter
of application and discipline really.

Before this started I had almost given up, and thought I was doomed to alife
of replacing worn out clothes at the local "Mr Fat *******" store.

I haven`t done much exercise, but I work in I.T. and on my present contract
volunteered to roll the new kit out deskside in a call centre we are
building, I did this almost single handedly, hard heavy work over a 5 week
period. Done me good..and helped I am sure rather than flying a desk. I
could not have done that humping and dumping of kit this time last year,
crawling under a desk would have been a trouser busting..huffing and puffing
ordeal, resulting I am sure in near death experiences.

:-)

Just posting for the benefit of any newbies hitting the lc trail.....there
is hope.

Gary
