Two questions
being old isn't crime if you are concerned about salt watch the celery, lots
of salt in it, naturally occuring but still there, you need to get the big book from WW with all the points in it... food companion i think is the name. always look up the points of stuff, at first i made a list of the stuff i eat often. Lee "pintlar" wrote in message ... "Stormmee" wrote in message ... I just "i can't beleive its not butter spray today on sale from kroger, I also use a misto with olive oil in it to coat pans, lots of people use teflon or that other stuff, but all of those coating freak me out. Don't know about the potato but i think its 8 ounces for 3 points? Lee **************************************** No wonder I lost 23 pounds in two weeks. I went with 4 oz nuked spuds @ 3 points. This was during a totally fat free period. I use fat free salad dressing & pepper on the spud. I have had some symtoms though. I have experienced faintness a few times (this was during zero fats). Incidentally, I was previous (2 weeks) on a zero sodium diet (my decision). Now I'm relaxing the sodium restriction, hoping the weight loss compensates for the hypertension. Also, I think my ears are starting to grow, and my nose is starting to twitch. Temptation has struck. My neighbor brought over a plate full of a Croatian dish called 'preznats' (sp?). No cube is over 3 oz but it has to be 80 % fat.....so I have my fat ration for 12 days on that plate. Thank God some fat is good for you. That dish is delicous and one hell of a temptation. Nice thing about this diet is that I am never really starving and a mouthful of celery (pepper & ff salad dressing) seems to satisfy for quite a while. Thanks for your imput. It will surely help....pintlar ps. I'm a really really old fart. |

Two questions
this is a very important point to me, we bought sweet rolls the other day, 8
cheese and 8 cherry, also bought 2 slices of lemon pudding cake and 1 of blueberry puddding cake. I had one sweet roll, DH cut the peices and after we had our treat i set them up in the freezer, he cut my cake slices in half and ii did the same, now the portions are managable and they are there if i want them, but if i don't want them they will keep nicely in the freezer. It's Easter: I had a little chocolate from my son and husband's Lint Bunny and Tornton's easter eggs, but no egg or bun of my own, so I won't be pigging as those are THEIR treats, and therefore no temptation. -- Kate XXXXXX R.C.T.Q Madame Chef des Trolls Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.katedicey.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |
