WTG Susan! Glad to see the stall has finally ended. Now just remember
this the next time that scale just won't budgeg Keep in mind that
instead of losing a pound a week you're just saving it all for one big
whoosh.......

Default happy friday!!

I kept my calories the same but I cut my carbs some, about in half
actually. I added 1 mile to my cycling and 1 to my walking everyday.
This didn't seem to work so I kept the added mileage and then I did a
refeed..Or what I considered a refeed.
I went out to dinner(to Texas Land And Cattle Company which if you've
never been there it's incredible steaks.) with Mark (boyfriend) and had
a 8oz ribeye, baked potato...first potato of any kind since June 15th, a
big salad with regular ranch dressing and 4 budlights throughout the
evening. Then the next morning I had a breakfast of eggs, bacon and 2
slices of wheat toast, a glass of OJ and a glass of skim milk. I was
miserable with it - I felt yukky, full, greasy and hungover. The
budlights were good and cold tho. lol.
Monday afternoon back on my plan and felt good about it. That was Sunday
and today is Friday(weigh day)

So I am not sure what caused the whoosh/break of stall, but I am glad it
did, I was getting really discouraged.

Refeeds are awesome. I love refeeds. It is so counter-intuitive, but I've
had the "whoosh" after a refeed on several occasions. Steak, potato and
beer is my favorite refeed.... Congratulations!

Just gotta love refeed days--for the pleasure, the guilt, and the icky
way you feel the next day, and then the whoosh.

Special occasions are usually the only time I go overboard, and, like we
all said before, you have to do it with the mindset that everything's
back to normal by Monday.

Good for you, Susan. BTW--did you find the not smoking difficult when
you were out (especially while drinking)? That was the toughest time for
me--still is after eight years.

could have in the same situation - I never did in the past. Hope this helps

Well with only being a week and one month quit. It's all hard. Waking up
is hard, eating is hard, breathing is hard. Everything is hard when your
quitting smoking. It IS getting better however. The physical withdrawls
are gone now and its all mental from here. But you'd be surprised at
what triggers a craving to smoke. Driving is the worst for me, I LOVED
to smoke and drive. Drinking and not smoking is not half as difficult as
driving and not smoking. I thought not smoking after eating was going to
be hard and it wasn't as bad as the not smoking and driving. If I can
get over that I can get over ANYTHING imo.
