Psychic Sabotage?
Do you ever get the feeling that someone or something is sabotaging
your best efforts? The feeling that despite starting well, something always happens to throw a spanner in the works? That somewhere “out there” something is working full-time to prevent you succeeding? Well, I have some news for you. There is an entity out there sabotaging you – But here's the twist – It's you! “Ridiculous” , I hear you cry “ why would I sabotage myself”? It may be hard to accept, but nevertheless it's true. You are just not aware of it because this is not something that is happening consciously, it all takes place in your subconscious. Your subconscious is the powerhouse that creates your world. All that your world has been, is and will be, is deliberately created and brought into being by your subconscious. Whatever your life is at the moment, whatever circumstances you find yourself, all of this, you have (albeit unknowingly) deliberately created for yourself. Why would your subconscious create something that is so different to what you “think” you want? Well, first you must understand the different ways in which your conscious and subconscious mind works. Your conscious mind is little more that a calculator, a word processor or logic engine. It's the bit of your mind that deals with language and because we can talk to it with words we tend to think that the conscious is our mind – It's not – It is merely an interpreter for the subconscious. The subconscious, on the other hand is your mind. As mentioned earlier it is the powerhouse that creates your world. When your subconscious believes that you need something – you will get it, whether you want it (consciously) or not – end of story. There is nothing you can do about it. So why would your subconscious believe that you want to fail? This is down to the way your subconscious works. It has no knowledge of language. The subconscious works only with – Feelings, emotion and symbology. It relies on the conscious to interpret words into feelings and emotion, but it is an imperfect translation because not all words can be interpreted emotionally. So your subconscious, wary of misinterpreting short-term ideas that come and go on a daily basis, will instead base it's interpretation on your long term feelings, your chronic thinking patterns and reactions. From these it builds up it's idea of what it believes you really want. Your chronic thinking patterns and reactions are what makes up your attitude to life, and it is from this that your subconscious defines it's task. So if consciously you think “I'd like to make a million pounds”, but subconsciously your feelings are that you don't want to get up early to do extra work, or that you don't want to stop spending your spare time slouching on the sofa, or down at the pub with your mates, your subconscious will pick up on this and think “This man doesn't really want his life to change, it's my duty to protect him from himself”. From then on it will guarantee that things stay as they are – even if this means sabotaging your best efforts. So the bottom line is this: Your attitude defines your life. To put it simplistically, a negative attitude will only produce negative results. To reap positive results you must learn to cultivate a positive mental attitude. When you have your subconscious on-side, success is not only possible, it's inevitable. http://wibomps.weebly.com/ |
