Hello everyone

I am new and seeking support in weightloss. I have 17 kg to lose. My
daughter is
getting married on November and I am determined to look my best on the
day.

I have had a rough year personally but am trying to remain positive and
focus on
the good things in my life and taking care of me and part of that means
feeling
better about the way I look...getting fitter and shifting this
weight...Sometimes you
just cannot control the things that happen in your life but this is
something I can
control and an area of my life I can see positive results in...

I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with emotional
overeating and if
you have any suggestions as to how to prevent it. How can I stay
focused on
my goal? I have set myself a mini goal of 10 kilos by June 21, my
wedding anniversary.
I am hoping that if I come here every day It will help keep me
motivated and I can get support to help me reach my goal. I would
really appreciate your advice and support.

Thanks

Jojo

Welcome to the group, Jojo.

Emotional eating is a problem for many of us. Here's an article I
posted in another thread in case you missed it.

Just keep posting everyday. You'll find lots of information and
support in the group.
Congratulations on your daughter's upcoming wedding.

Beverly
