I weigh and log everything that goes in my mouth. I get the calorie
values for foods either from the nutritional label on foods, or from
the www.calorieking.com web site. If the food is not listed, I'll try
to estimate what ingredients might be in the food and in what
proportions, and then I'll estimate calories. I'm trying to maintain a
caloric intake of 2400 a day, but from my logs, I'm actually averaging
about 2550 a day for the last year.
