Fancy dinner for two
I am trying to plan ahead here. I would like to prepare a nice dinner
for two for Valentine's Day. Any suggestions? I think that DH would be opened to something like London broil (especially if we are able to grill outside) or salmon but I'd love to hear your suggestions :-) -- jmk in NC |

Cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, onion, green pepper, zucchini, etc. Really good brushed with a little teriyaki sauce. I think that would go nicely with grilled salmon! det |

I was thinking roasted veggies but if it is nice enough to grill (we've had wild swings from 45 degree days like today to ice covered roads last week so who knows), this would be great! -- jmk in NC |

I am in NC too, Did you get any ice last night? Grilling out sounds like a
plan, I think it was in the 50's today. -Christian Reynolds "jmk" wrote in message ... On 2/3/2004 12:28 PM, determined wrote: "jmk" wrote in message ... I am trying to plan ahead here. Its NEVER too cold to grill outside. Even here in freezing and snowy Ct, we grill all winter long. The grill is out on the deck, and even in the blizzards, we just shovel a path from the slider to the grill. Tracey in CT |

Christian Reynolds wrote: I am in NC too, Did you get any ice last night? No, just rain last night. I think that we'll be ok latter on this week too. I am getting mad at the shopping centers around here that did not clear the snow/ice and put out cones and roping to keep folks off the icy walkways and STILL have not done anything to remove the remaining ice! Grilling out sounds like a plan, I think it was in the 50's today. I think so too. I'm leaning salmon as the ginger salmon can be done inside as well. Hmmm. -Christian Reynolds "jmk" wrote in message ... On 2/3/2004 12:28 PM, determined wrote: "jmk" wrote in message ... I am trying to plan ahead here. We have a grill with a rotisserie. They sell boneless lamb legs at sams club, they are delicious when roasted with garlic, msg and other spices, etc. I vote for grilling, as well. :-) I'll keep that in mind. We do BJ's here but I think that they have leg of lamb as well. -- jmk in NC |

:-) My plan was go out out somewhere nice on a date other than 2/14 and
make a nice dinner for us to enjoy at home on the actual date. Not that I don't make nice meals all of the time but you know, nicer/more special that ordinary. hehe! Perple Gyrl wrote: Go out to eat!
