Healthy Choice Clam Chowder:

I cooked this on the stove top. When it was finished, I served it with a
slight sprinkle of black pepper. It was tolerable, but bland. I finished it,
but I almost wish I would of thrown it out for something else. I felt it was
too bland and well- just not good enough. I tried spicing it up with a bit
of bread, and extra pepper, but alas. If I get desperate for chowder, I
rather go for a small cup of the real stuff.

220 calories in a can, 110 per serving.

Tabasco sauce can zip up just about any bland food!

I have found that Healthy Choice in general lacks salt! If I add salt to
most of their food, it becomes tolerable. However, it is pricey and many
non-diet foods are about equal in calories and nutrition and don't jack the
price up because they have healthy or diet or light in the labels

I could not agree more. Funny thing is, many non diet foods have less
calories- for instance, the HC hotdogs (70 cals) vs. Ball park (40) and
Hebrew National (50).

Correction, non-healthy choice foods. All of listed were low fat/fat-free
