Default curious - most weight lost

Hi all. Been lurking for a while. Learned lots of good information
about low-carb.

What is the most that anyone has reported losing on low-carb?

Anyone anywhere, or here in the group?

I'm at about 166, unless you accept my fully dressed number at the start and
nude number currently, which would make it 175.

311/153.9/150
(328 fully dressed around 2001)
311 was about where I started low carb.

wow. I was thinking of anyone anywhere.

I only lost 25 lbs and I am thanking my lucky stars that that is all I
had to lose.

I have been worried about the prospects of loose skin. So far, in areas
such as my legs, face/neck, and arms the skin has recovered and sucked back
in. In areas that still have some fat, it is like what is sometimes called
loose skin. This would be the backs of my upper arms and the lower belly
area. The actual result can't be known until the fat is gone. The skin
does not have enough elasticity to pull the fat up into place, but once the
fat is gone, there is a chance the skin will recover.

I have seen pictures of loose skin after morbid obesity, and they look much
worse than my situation. Also, such pictures usually still have fat
present.

My BMI is now: 23.4

Well, its great for the people that actually lost the weight.

However, when you lose that kind of weight I do wonder about the
whole 'loose skin' issue. That must be kind of a bitch to deal with.

I always smile when I read your posts, Cubit. You are indeed an
inspiration.

On a personal note, I hit 150 pounds down this morning, and it feels
great!! Only 3 1/2 to go. I love it.

Skin? *sigh* I have some problem areas, I'll admit, but when I'm
dressed, they're so not even noticeable to people who just look at me.
I'm my own worst critic. The lower stomach, the way upper thigh, the
arm "wings"... but properly dressed, these things are not an issue for
me. I feel great!

Have a great weekend!

I find Cubit to be an inspiration also and am learning a lot on his mailing

But I really wrote to say NICOLE that's GREAT! What a huge
accomplishment for you I'm really really thrilled at your success .
