can offer great insight on psychological issues especially. Why you
are trying to drive her away?

Don't worry, I don't let creeps like that dictate my actions. He can post
my full name every day from here on out because it doesn't matter. I have
nothing to hide like he does.

He wanted an explanation about why jmk brought up the paleo thing. I'm
so sorry to have offended you by giving him back the same crap he doles
out regularly. It won't happen again.

Hmmm... I don't recall being offended. I don't feel offended, but apology
accepted.

I did not like the taste of the pizza ergo my initial comments about the
SBD pizza.

Fair enough.

I would love to have a diet completely void of "corporately packaged
food" but the demands of my lifestyle mean that I have to give somewhere
and I'd rather not spend every day shopping and cooking. As you said
YMMV and my choices are no less right than yours are.

Exactly. There's no need to get defensive, as I was indeed saying your
choices are just as valid. But our choices are indeed different, and I
like to be honest about what mine are, and why. I don't eat packaged,
processed food, and I rarely cook, except to cook some things for my
family.

I wasn't trying to be defensive. I like to be honest too, I just don't like
when jerks like ignoranus retaliate for it.

I don't get the chance to cook often so I cook in bulk and when I do I use
"whole" and unprocessed ingredients whenever possible.

I see no reason why I cannot point out

and yet, a bigger person would have resisted that urge.

I see no reason why I cannot point out a pretentious liar such as
Jennifer Austin, who is currently posting as Nunya B
. Especially since she seems to be desperate
for my attention anyway, engaging in filthy namecalling and
dishonesty.

As far as I am concerned, I could not care less if she stays here or
leaves. She is not leaving anyway, just pretending to leave, as she
has done times before, in a typical drama queen fashion.

I'm not even pretending to leave, liar. I'm just done with you unless you
address me specifically or you go back to insulting people with eating
disorders or emotional problems. What is it exactly that I've lied about?

Well, pizza isn't paleo anyway... ;-)

I really need to read these posts more thoroughly. Even *I* should
have
caught that one considering the conversation Iggy and I had yesterday.
:-)

I am not sure what's the relevance of pizza not being paleo, to my
original statement, since I do not eat pizza as such.

Allegedly you eat paleo, pizza isn' paleo, ergo you most likely don't eat
pizza. So why would your opinion on SBD pizza mean anything? It's like
me
telling you how to get rid of that nasty testicle itch.

Well if it was someone else's couldn't she just scratch it for him? LOL

He'd have to get some first I suppose...

He *currently* eats paleo, doesn't mean he has never eaten pizza in his
life. I don't eat pizza, either. But I when I used to, I remember all
kinds of frozen pizza and "pre-mixed" pizzas and how putrid they tasted
compared to the delicious recipes I would make at home, or fresh pizza
from a reputable (not chain) pizzeria. However, if other people enjoy the
taste of corporately packaged food, so be it. YMMV and all that. It's
good to embrace the differences in other people's way of eating, and
everyone's opinion is worthy of validation.

FWIW, I meant it in an "of course you didn't try that! it's not paleo
so you wouldn't have. next thread please" kind of way.

I am curious, you mentioned that you eat raw food these days. I have
been curious about "raw food" movement since about a year ago. What is
it that you actually eat, if you do not mind. About the only non-raw
food that I eat is meat, fish and such. There was a lot of talk about
raw food on the paleo mailing list.

Like when I started LCing, I kind of "fell into" raw food. Among other
personal circumstances, regarding other family members, I just happened to
notice that the more salads and fresh fruits and vegetables I ate, I felt
better and better. For decades I had black "raccoon circles" under my
eyes, and when I went LC they were lighter, but gradually increasing the
raw to 100% and the circles are gone! I also read the book "Conscious
Eating" by Gabriel Cousens. But I've read a lot of articles and
websites, authored by people who experienced similar to me, but after
cleaning up their eating habits, their symptoms were gone.
www.shazzie.com is one good site, but there are others as well, for raw
food bloggers. The commonality between LC and what I am doing now is the
total banning (for me personally) of any junk food or non-natural food. I
partly wanted to get back into my vegetarian lifestyle now that I had
banned the junk. I ate quite a lot of vege-junk that never made me
satisfied when I was vegetarian.

I eat raw plant foods, high on the "vegetable fruits" such as cucumbers,
and red bell peppers, some fresh fruit, raw fresh coconut (and coconut
water - ooh to die for), and lots of green lettuces, baby spinach, celery.
I drink wheatgrass juice, and also eat seaweeds. Occasionally I will eat
soaked almonds or avocadoes, and I also sometimes take fresh flaxseed oil.
I try to mostly buy organic produce. My family still eats cooked food,
but far less than they used to, because they love all the salads and fresh
things I serve to them daily.

I am not hungry constantly, either. It's a different kind of satisfaction
than when I was LCing, but it just feels the most right for me. Whose to
say if it's forever, but I am liking the ease, variety, and accessibility
of this way of eating. There are many raw-foodists who "bake" their food
in a dehydrator, because the low temperature doesn't kill the enzymes, and
who knows, I may end up getting one, but I much prefer it fresh.

I've seen Ignoramus in a few newsgroups for quite some time and I believe he
is married so he is obviously getting some from someone.
Not that it is any of my business but I find him to be an okay guy.

You weren't the one with the problem, he is. Apparently he's a little
sensitive about the topic or something.

I'll go back to making my own on whole wheat tortillas.

I make mine on whole wheat pitas. They just seem more... pizza crust
like to me. I just take 1 pita, a couple ounces of jarred pasta sauce,
and a couple ounces of lowfat or nonfat cheese, and pop in the toaster
oven. It turns out pretty yum. Not as yum as a delivered deep dish
with everything, of course, but still pretty good. And I would guess
that it's alot cheaper than a frozen single serve pizza.
