Doug's Week 57 report - down 1.3 lb for the week, 83 lb total -and a milestone to report!
Well, it's not exactly a "woosh", but least it is a respectable, normal
weekly weight loss. And finally I am at a new, lower weight after a month of stalls. In fact, I have now lost more than 30% of my original weight! This week I lost 0.6 kg = 1.3 lb. Since my average daily calories came to 1568 calories/day (slightly higher than last week) this means my CPP (calories per pound per day needed to maintain weight) was 11.6, which about what it was during my St. Louis trip. My "rolling 4 week average" improved from a negative weight loss to 0.3 lb/week. My latest weekly weight loss graph is up at http://lerner.net/diet/weight20060707.jpg The latest stats: * Week 57 / Day 399 * This week's loss: 0.6 kg = 1.3 lb * Weight (kg): 125.0 - 87.2 (minus 37.8 kg) * Weight (lb): 275.0 - 191.8 (minus 83.2 lb) * BMI: 41.3 - 28.8 * Percent body mass lost: 30.2% (Milestone: more than 30% lost!) * Percent complete to goal: 82% doug |

I guess I can't complain. Beverly |

Yeah, I can relate to that, bursty loses of 1-2 Kg in a week, after a period of stagnation. So the only advice I can give to everyone is, hang in there with low calories, don't weigh yourself every day, the results will come eventually. (I've lost 20 Kg total) |
