Body for Life Challenge Week 9
I'm down another pound this week, but I'm really showing some improvement
in the abdominal area. My waist measurement has come down 1.5 inches in the past 9 weeks! I even saw a hint of that weird genetic abnormality Jayjay has, i.e., my body going concave right below the ribs. I also started wearing the size 16 jeans this week and wore some size 14 pants last week-end (but could neither breath nor sit down so I suppose that doesn't count.) I only worked out 4 times this week, not just because (as Sarah Jane says) I'm pathetically lazy, but because I got a double whammy of humongous DOMS after giving blood and my period starting and all I wanted to do was stay in bed Sunday and Monday. So I did. But Jayjay's 8:40 post was inspiring and I found myself pushing for the clock on the treadmill today. I'm sad that my sustainable pace is only 12 min/mile, but then I recall how recently I wasn't running at all on the treadmill! The other thing that was new this week was I went back to logging on fitday. I was surprised to find out that even my biggest days were only at 1700 calories. I thought I was eating more than that. Oh, and I'm now below the weight I was when I got pregnant with my second child. Two down, one to go. Wendy 244/189.5/170 |

Of course getting into those size 14's counts. Who says you need to breathe or sit down. The 1.5 off the waist is fantastic. This is my problem area and I would love to see those numbers for myself.
