Default Weight Watchers going Low Carb?

Krogers is advertising low carb frozen dinners. When I stopped in to do
some grocery shopping, the stock person said he hadnt put it on the shelf
yet. He offered to go back and grab me some. I asked for one of each kind.
Thinking it was the brand I have heard Walmart sells, I was surprised when
he brought out Smart Ones from Weight Watchers.

At Krogers they ran $3.09. Total carbs per dinner was 12 with 3 for fiber,
resulting in 9 net carbs. The stock person said they havent even allowed
shelf space for them yet. Leading me to believe when Weight Watchers
reveals its new January diet, at least one option will be low carb.

At the very least, we have another low carb option to pick from.

OMG! Did you examine any of them? What are the carb counts
like? I hope we get them soon because there seems to be a problem
with keeping Mike's LC Gourmet meals in stock. (I do hope they
are coming back--we are now down to some of the fairly insipid
salmon and the fine but relatively high carb [for this line and
for induction] meatloaf.)

I was pretty young at the time (about 8 or so) but I do remember my mother
insisted I go on WW back in the 70's and it was sorta low-carbish. Not like
induction levels or anything but certainly less than 100 per day.

Ooops. I didn't see the rest of the post. BTW, the Smart One I
later saw sure looked carby. All had potatoes or pasta. I'll
have to look more closely. I may go back out before I get snowed
in this weekend.
