Default coming up on 150 lost... lobster din din

I figure I have another 3 weeks before I hit the 150 mile stone with another
50 to go.. but when I hit the 150 mark, I am going to head out and get the
biggest baked stuffed lobster I can find.. even plan on hitting the bread
basket WITH BUTTER!.. the way I look at it.. I'll loose 153 and have 3
pounds of reserve.. I know many will say don't do it because it just throws
you back to the old days of eating like a pig, but the way I look at it..
one free day in 11 months is no crime.. and nope, don't see me relapsing..
the next day I plan on getting back into it and going for the last 50
pounds.. has anyone else celebrated a milestone with something more than
lemon water and a salad..

I'm impressed ! Hey you have worked hard and its nice to reward yourself. And
you might be suprised that once you get there you can't eat as much as you
use to, and not do so bad anyway. Good luck with your continued wgt lose and
have a great time at your celebration.

This sounds perfectly reasonable to me! While I don't think I ever
particularly celebrated weight loss milestones with good meals, I've
celebrated plenty of other occasions that way over the past three
years. I wouldn't worry about it at all. And congratulations on your
wonderful progress!

If nothing else... I have learned one thing over the past 10 months is that
dieting is very simple if you; "Keep it simple". Eat fewer calories than
you burn a day... walk if you want to even burn more.. and in the end, you
should loose weight. So far that simple philosophy has worked.

The brain is what get you in trouble... the body can do well on only
1000-1200 calories.. but the brain wants you to eat that Milkey Way... not
that you NEED it, but you want it... Not letting the brain take over is the
trick... not easy at times, because the brain is great at trying to
rationalize why you should eat that candy bar.. or bread..or whatever that
trigger is for you... thats the hard part of dieting.. the rest is simple.

Congratulations on getting close to such an amazing achievement, and
enjoy every bite of that lobster - you've earned it!
