Food & Exercise -- 8/6/2004
Food:
9:00 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices melted f/f cheese 12:30 (driving to gym w/ DH): ready-to-drink chocolate protein shake 2:30 (Ruby Tuesday's salad bar, w/ DH): salad w/ 2 cups greens, 6 cherry tomatoes, an ounce or so each of shredded carrots and broccoli, 1/3 cup chickpeas, 1 oz. shredded cheese, 2 tbs lowfat balsamic vinaigrette; 1/2 cup cottage cheese w/ 1 cup fresh fruit 6:00 (home): 50g air-popped popcorn 10:00 (home): 200g turkey meatloaf w/ 3 slices melted f/f cheese Totals: 1597 calories, 49g fat (28%), 167g carbs (42%), 131g protein (33%) 1:00 p.m. -- Exercise (on my own today -- Tom was out): Cardio program week 11, threshold day: 18 minutes treadmill run -- 3 minutes at 4.5 mph, 12 minutes at 5.5 mph, 3 minutes at 4.5 mph Pull-ups: 3 x (hang + negative) Weight-stack assisted pull-ups: 1x10x50 lbs., 1x1x20 lbs. Lat pulldowns, reverse grip: 1x10x90 Lat pulldowns, regular grip: 1x10x70 Cable crossover chest fly/press combinations: 1x10x30; 1x10x40 (Kind of a lazy lifting workout :-). (2nd day of AF, very crampy, slept most of the afternoon... I notice I eat
very poorly during the AF week...) Food: Breakfast: cottage cheese w/Splenda Lunch: / Snack: peanuts Dinner: whole wheat bread with hot chilli sauce, light mayo and Asiago cheese (1 slice bread, 1 Ts hot chilli sauce, 1 Ts light mayo, 2 slices Asiago cheese) Water = 8 cups; 2 cups Coca-Cola Exercise: none, a little housework According to Fitday = 46 grams of carbs Elly breastfeeding mom of a 9mo, following the balanced low carb WOE Mid July 2004: 195.8 / 188.1 lbs / mini-goal by August 20th: 184.8 to 187 lbs sometime in the (distant) futu 150 lbs |
