speaking of cheesecake
Big Grins....
Just returned from lunch with friends. My one girlfriend decided that she owed me lunch for a favor I'd done for her. We went to Chick Fil A. I ordered a grill chicken salad w/ light dressing and a diet coke. She placed her order then finished it off with 2 pieces of cheesecake. SHe turns to me and asks if I want topping on my cheesecake. I tell her that I have to decline, and to cancel the 2nd piece. She insists and gets it anyway (gives it to the other friend we have with us). So, I passed up on cheesecake today... and remained on track. When my friends asked why I'm being so good. My explaination was: Its either be real good for a little while so that my clothes still fit, or I have to go out and buy a new wardrobe to fit into. Now, as much as I enjoy shopping, I really don't want to go buy a new wardrobe right now. |

YAY!!! I have 2 whole cheesecakes in the fridge that I've been avoiding
so far (not too hard actually, haven't had the time to think and it's hidden behind leftovers). I also have some haagen daas ice cream bars in the freezer that I'm saving for this weekend. It's a HUGE accomplishment to say no. Pats on the back to ya! "Jayjay" wrote in message ... Big Grins.... Just returned from lunch with friends. WAY TO GO JAYJAY! Congrats on your discipline....As long as you realize you
don't always have to do without it then I think your thinking healthy. It's when we get in the habit of eating bad foods all the time it's bad for us. I applaud you on your not letting your friend talking you into eating something you didn't want to. Clothes are a lot more expensive than a piece of cheese cake and your health is priceless.
