Default Low-Carb etc..

Hi all,

What is the minimum amount of carbs required in order to say that a
recipe is low-carb. Is it a minimum amount or is it a range? If a
range, what are the lower and upper limits?

On the same subject, what are the amounts/ranges for recipes being as
low-cal, low-fat and low-sodium?

Thanks,
Max

The minimum for carbs is zero obviously. I think you want to know what
the maximum is?

If I remember correctly about 100 gms of carbs/day prevents ketosis in
almost anyone. To actually get into ketosis you probably have to get
below 30gms.

Of course 30gms in one meal is fine unless you want to eat another
one. So the question doesn't really make a lot of sense.

Salt is easy to eliminate from food you prepare yourself. Low-salt is
none or trace amounts (mgs). Anything above that is not low-sodium.
