Let's ask him.

I follow the 2PD Approach which is:

Low carb, low protein, *and* low fat.

Truth is simple.

Servant to the humblest person in the universe,

Andrew

Low carb, low protein, and low fat means.....

Low calorie. Your body is devouring your muscle as much as it is your fat.

The body has no reason to break down structural proteins unless it
needs to do so for the carb side chains of amino acids (when carb
deficient) or for essential amino acids (when protein deficient).

You're right, truth is simple.

The credit for the truth belongs to my heavenly Father whom I love
with all my heart, soul, and mind.

But it will allow you to meet the humblest
person in the universe sooner than you may have expected.

I've already met Him sooner than expected (and not from being at ideal
body weight) and He brought me back.

You remain in my prayers, dear neighbor whom I love.

Interesting. You had clinical death experience?

Let's ask him.

I follow the 2PD Approach which is:

Low carb, low protein, *and* low fat.

A diet low in protein is an important risk factor for heart disease:

http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritio.../protein.html:

"In the Nurses' Health Study, women who ate the most protein (about 110
grams per day) were 25 percent less likely to have had a heart attack or
to have died of heart disease than the women who ate the least protein
(about 68 grams per day) over a 14-year period. "

Your cited study is not relevant because for the 2PD Approach, the "low" comes
from an across-the-board reduction in macronutrients.

This works out to an average of 300 gms daily intake each of carbs, proteins
and fat for a total daily intake of 900 gms of food.

300 gms of protein is less protein than the average intake (i.e. it is low
protein) for most Americans but more than adequate amount of protein for
addressing concerns brought up by the Nurse's Health Study.

Low in intelligence, low in common sense, low in scientific support,
low in credibility.
