Hi there,
Someone was telling a person the directions for changing the settings from
top posting to bottom posting.
Can you please tell us again how to do that? For the life of me I can't
find it in my Options. I'm using IE 5.5
Thanks!

Caring about top/bottom posting is like caring if someone is wearing brown
or black shoes.

There is no way to set it in IE, if you want to bottom post you have to hit
PageDown until you get to the bottom. And inserting your sig automatically
will mess you up as it goes to the top and
won't be under your messages. There is a little utility called OE Quotefix
which will allow you to switch the sig to the bottom, it also does a number
of nice things to messages you read as it marks off the different posters in
different colors. Also solves the broken URL problem. It's free at
http://home.in.tum.de/~jain/software/oe-quotefix/

Not if you use newsgroups a lot, and if the discussions there are more
structured. Then top posting is hell. In this group, it probably doesn't
make a huge difference.

Not to fan this flame too much, but (Usenet political correctness aside)
bottom posting is for those who love to scroll and scroll and scroll to
eventually get to the reply...

Anyway, I'm about to start Atkins for the first time and appreciate the info
in this newsgroup (even JC's still-entertaining postings).

And top posting is for people who want to read posts out of order.
