Default Damn flu

Took 8 days between gym workouts because I was sick as a dog.

When you're not working out, do you just eat much less ?

Lots of confusing info about nutrition and weight loss. Ya'd think it
was only about total calories in vs out, but nooooooooo...............

In any case, feel like I'm really trying hard and not getting results
fast enough.

Not a lot, but you definitely have to compensate if your calorie
deficit isn't large to begin with.

It IS. Nutritionists are full of useless advice on dieting. Unless
you have special dietary concerns, anybody who's taken a high-school
science class can design an effective weight loss plan. More out than
in. Thermodynamics doesn't just stop working for no reason.

If you ever find yourself saying the words "not fast enough," pinch
yourself. You didn't put the weight on in a month, what makes you
think you could POSSIBLY take it off fast? Rome wasn't built in a
day, but it wasn't destroyed in one either. Be patient and don't over-
do it, or you'll see results, then fall off the plan and that'll be
history.

If you honestly feel like your results are not good, you need to ramp
it up. Eat less calories. It's not hard.
