I hated Krispy Kreme even when I wasn't eating low carb.

Those things'll kill you!

My husband can eat 3 or 4 of those things. I took one bite of one one time
because he insisted I'd like it. I thought it was the most horrid thing I've
ever eaten.

WAY too sweet for my taste.

Yum...."hot donuts now". I love that sign. I don't eat them but a couple
times a year. I wish they made them with half glazed. I think that would
be great.

They're just donuts. And Krispy Kreme is not available in our area anyway.
I'm in Nova Scotia, home of Tim Horton's - and I do still drink their
coffee. A running joke here in Halifax is that no matter where you are
standing, just walk in one direction for 5-15 minutes and you'll reach a
Tim's.

There's plenty of other junk food out there, and millions of people are
eating them. Look at Mickey D's, they're still a multi-BILLION dollar
industry, so somebody's gotta be eating their stuff.

As far as Krispy Kreme or any other donut industry is concerned, all they
have to do is read this usenet group. There are low-carbers who believe
that low-carb *anything* is healthier. All they gotta do is come up with a
recipe for a donut containing gluten flour, xanthan gum, soy flour,
sawdust, splenda and da Vinci syrup for glaze and bada bing, they'll be
back in business :-)

Ahh cool. I never go there, and haven't seen a McD's commercial in over 7
years, due to no television.

Amen!

If you go in while they are making them you can ask them to remove it from
the conveyer belt before hitting the glaze. Yum!
KK donuts are about the only thing I miss on the LC woe.

Low-carb donuts are rather easy to make - even my husband can do it. lol
C'mon, Krispy Kreme - catch up with the changing times!
