Default no/low carb flour???

Can someone recommend some no carb or very low carb flour for baking?
People have mentioned almond flour in this forum, but I have been unable to
find any at the grocery store.

Thanks,
Robert

If you can stand the taste of soy-flour, (I can't), it's lower carb.

Check if your store carries Bob's Red Mill products. They may have Amond
Meal, which is the same thing.

Trader Joe's has an almond meal, at least in the Western division.

After that, you might search for online resources like:

You can find low carb flours online or at some health food stores.

http://www.nuts4u.com has several types, and
http://www.netrition.com has some too.

Make your own! Buy a cheap coffee bean grinder and grind away. If you use
blanched almonds, the flour will have a finer texture.

Almond or walnut flour is great to use. Have you considered also soy or soya?
In a pinch, zero-carb protein powder is a great thickener for cooking.
